The Greek Orthodox Cross is an
Eastern Cross,
superimposed on a
Trefoil Cross. On the left are the Greek letters Iota and
Sigma, the first and last letters of IHCOUC (Jesus). On the
right are the Greek letters Chi and Sigma, the first and
last letters of XPICTOC (Christ).
